Full-Spectrum Doula Care for Every Body.
I am a trained and experienced English-speaking Full-Spectrum Doula in Berlin, with 12 years of experience accompanying pregnant people through:
Pregnancy, no matter the outcome, is a deeply transitional and transformative time. My work brings together somatics, reproductive justice, and conflict transformation. I offer information, resources, and practical support while helping you stay connected to your body, your choices, and your timing.
I work with local and international clients, including migrant and multi-national families navigating care systems in Berlin. I have particular experience supporting structurally diverse, queer, multicultural, and neurodivergent individuals and families.
As a doula, I trust in your ability, intuition, life experience, and body-knowledge. I help advocate for, create space around, and support your choices, needs, and identities. Through physiological education, evidence-based information, touch, humor, herbal remedies, sound, somatic practices, active listening, and companionship, I am honored to accompany and care for you through this time of profound change.
If you are interested in working together, you are warmly invited to book a free consultation so we can learn more about each other.
“Cristina holds space that is deeply caring, lighthearted and beautiful all at the same time. They helped me navigate challenges and vulnerabilities as a queer birther and always provided a safe space for me to explore what that meant. During and after birth, they worked so hard to make sure we had all our personal needs met and kept my husband and I comfortable and cared for, and I’m so grateful to have had their sweet presence at the birth of my baby. ”
Abortion Education & Accompaniment
Abortion is part of our reproductive lives, but the care surrounding it is not always easy to access. I offer practical, emotional, and somatic accompaniment before, during, and after an abortion, making space for your needs and the experience as you live it.
Depending on what would be helpful, our work might include:
Exploring the practical steps involved and preparing questions for your medical provider.
Somatic and emotional preparation, including grounding, breath, movement, or rest.
Accompaniment to an appointment for a procedural abortion, or in-home support during a medication abortion.
Meals, household help, comfort measures, and support with recovery.
A closing ceremony to acknowledge and make space for the physical and emotional experience.
You don't need to feel a particular way or have a particular story to receive support.
Birth Preparation & Accompaniment
Birth can ask a lot of us physically, emotionally, and relationally. Preparation can offer a chance to explore what helps you feel supported, practice ways of responding to intensity, and consider different possibilities without needing to predict exactly how birth will unfold.
I offer individualized preparation and continuous accompaniment through labor and birth, drawing on physiological knowledge, movement, touch, sound, and practical comfort measures.
Together, we might practice positions and partner support, explore your preferences, prepare questions for your care team, or make space for fears and uncertainties. During labor, I offer hands-on and emotional support according to your wishes, helping you navigate the experience and communicate your needs.
I support people planning different kinds of births, including hospital births, home births, and planned cesareans. My role is not to direct your choices, but to accompany you through them.
Our work can include:
Somatic and physiological preparation for labor and birth.
Emotional and practical preparation for birth and the transition into parenthood.
Three to four prenatal meetings shaped around your needs and questions.
Continuous labor and birth accompaniment
Support in communicating your preferences and navigating changes to your plans.
A postpartum visit and closing ceremony to reflect on and mark your experience.
“Honestly, those days when I called her and she came over to my home and I just needed to talk and hardcore vent Cristina didn’t skip a beat and was just like, let it out. And that night I went into labor Cristina was a G. If I hadn’t had them with me I would have had it way worse.”
Postpartum Planning & Accompaniment
The time after birth can hold many things at once. You might be recovering physically, learning your baby, adjusting to new relationships and responsibilities, or making sense of an experience that unfolded unexpectedly.
Postpartum Doula care offers space specifically for you at a time when it is easy to solely focus on your baby. Together, we can consider what would make daily life more manageable and what kinds of support might help you rest, recover, and find your bearings.
Depending on your needs, this might include:
Emotional accompaniment and space to talk through your experience.
Meals, light household help, and practical support around rest and recovery.
Comfort measures and body-based practices.
Help navigating family dynamics, practical logistics, and the changes that come with a new baby.
A closing ceremony to acknowledge the transition and make space for what comes next.
We can plan ahead or respond to what emerges once you're home.
“Cristina’s warmth, skilled care and intuitive support have been an enormous blessing for our entire family. She cared for our two year old and helped run our household while I was pregnant on strict bed rest for 6 months. She also took care of me, bringing such understanding and grace that she made a very challenging situation so much easier. She is a godsend who’s got your family’s back.”
Opening Ceremony
Some experiences ask for a moment of preparation, connection, or opening in their own time.
I offer opening ceremonies during pregnancy, before an abortion or birth. These are shaped together and might include conversation, ritual, reflection, movement, or time to connect with your body, spirit, partners, family, and wider care community.
There is no prescribed way to prepare. We can create something simple, intimate, and responsive to your values and relationships, making space for witnessing, care, and shared presence.
Closing Ceremony
Some experiences ask to be marked, witnessed, or brought to a close in their own time.
I offer closing ceremonies around abortion, birth, and pregnancy loss. These are shaped together and might include conversation, a shared meal, touch, rest, ritual, journaling, or time with partners, family, and your wider care community.
There is no prescribed way to participate. We can create something simple, intimate, and responsive to what you need.

My Experience
I've been involved in reproductive justice work as a full-spectrum doula since 2016. My practice began with volunteer intake counseling at the Richmond Reproductive Freedom Project, a community-run abortion fund. I went on to co-found the Richmond Doula Project, where I spent six years accompanying people through birth, abortion, and postpartum.
My work continues to be shaped by community-based reproductive care, somatic practice, and the belief that people deserve support that respects their autonomy and lived experience.
In Berlin, I continue to develop my bodywork practice through fascia-perceptive touch studies with Camalo Gaskin. I also facilitate abortion storytelling circles at Schokofabrik Frauenzentrum, creating spaces for people to share and reflect on reproductive experiences.

FAQ’s
-
My practice brings together practical knowledge and body-based approaches. Depending on your needs and preferences, we might explore movement, shaking, breath, sound, positions, touch, and physical comfort measures.
I also draw on my training in fascia-perceptive touch and my knowledge of herbs and traditional care practices. Herbal preparations, compresses, scents, or teas may be considered where appropriate and safe.
Rituals, prayers, cultural practices, and other forms of meaning-making can also be part of our work if you wish. Nothing is prescribed; we explore what feels right for you.
-
Reproductive justice is central to my practice. It recognizes the right to bodily autonomy, to have children, not to have children, and to raise children in safe and sustainable communities.
For me, this is both a political commitment and a daily practice of care. It can mean helping someone locate resources, preparing a meal, making space for grief, supporting a person's pronouns and choices, or sitting together through uncertainty without trying to fix it.
I approach reproductive experiences without assuming what they should mean or how someone should feel about them.
-
For birth clients, I arrange an on-call period around your estimated due date, including availability from approximately two weeks before your due date until birth. We discuss how to contact me, travel time, and the arrangements for your particular birth location in advance.
I also arrange a backup doula in case of illness or an emergency. You will have the opportunity to meet your backup and become familiar with them before the on-call period.
-
My birth accompaniment package is offered on a sliding scale of €1,500–€2,500. A 40% deposit is due when we sign our agreement, with the remaining balance arranged in one or two installments before your on-call period.
If a different payment arrangement would make the support more accessible, please bring that into our conversation.
-
I arrange backup support for birth, abortion, and postpartum accompaniment when needed. For birth clients, we plan an opportunity to meet your backup in advance so that you know who may be supporting you in the rare case of illness or unforseen emergency.
-
English is my primary working language, and I am continuing to learn German. I have experience accompanying families in German birth settings and working alongside care teams from different cultural and language backgrounds.
I can help you prepare questions, explore your options, and communicate your needs. I am not a medical translator and cannot replace professional interpretation when it is needed.
-
Reproductive experiences can bring grief in many forms: pregnancy loss, difficult decisions, changes in bodily autonomy, gender dysphoria, unexpected outcomes, or the resurfacing of earlier experiences and wounds.
These feelings can exist alongside joy, relief, love, or anticipation. You don't need to make sense of them in a particular way or resolve them on a timeline.
I offer space to speak, be quiet, explore body-based practices, or find additional resources when needed. My role is to accompany you without judgment and to make room for the complexity of your experience.
