Postpartum Doula Accompaniment
As your postpartum doula, I provide evidence-based, somatically informed, and nurturing support and advocacy to you and your partner(s) directly after pregnancy loss, release, and/or birth and throughout the weeks and months after. I am based in Berlin, and often available virtually.
Postpartum is one of the biggest hormonal shifts a person can experience. As a postpartum doula, I am prepared and trained to hold space for any of the waves that can ebb during this tender and transformative period.
I have been practicing as a doula for over a decade and am honored to accompany diverse family structures, immigrant, multi-cultural, queer, and neurodivergent postpartum people and families.
I am trauma-aware, somatically informed, culturally curious, and particularly competent at accompanying folks post medical/relational/childhood trauma. I am happy to walk with people at any stage of their postpartum experience.
If I’m not your birth doula, I’m happy to meet once prenatally to discuss your birth and postpartum goals and how I can support you.
As a postpartum doula, I offer:
Before
Emotional & logistical preparation: planning your home care, prepping meals, coordinating with care providers or partners, journaling prompts, and guided meditations.
Body‑centered sessions: gentle bodywork, touch, breathwork, and somatic movement to steady the nervous system.
Practical prep: resource planning, consent conversations, and safety/access checks.
If I am not your birth doula, I would love to meet one time prenatally, to speak about your birth and postpartum goals
Immediately post-pregnancy
In‑home support for immediate postpartum needs or virtual accompaniment when appropriate.
On‑call virtual support for the first 48 hours and flexible follow‑up care in the early weeks.
Comfort measures: soothing touch, positioning, music, warm drinks, meals, and body-work if wanted.
Advocacy & coordination: liaising with care teams as requested and supporting your choices in the moment.
After
In‑person visit with a nourishing meal a few days after birth (when possible).
Emotional processing and documentation support (journaling, narrative work) if desired.
Healing Resources: I can provide customized evidence-based modalities, cultural practices, and medical specialists for your individual needs
Closing practices: gentle touch, massage, ritual, journaling, and intention‑setting—available privately or with partner(s)/chosen community.
