I am a multidisciplinary artist, facilitator, and full-spectrum doula working between Richmond, Virginia, and Berlin, Germany. My practice brings together somatic storytelling, embodied performance training, and doula-informed facilitation, creating participatory, community-based spaces grounded in lived experience, care, and collective transformation.
I hold a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University and have worked as a performance artist across Richmond, New York City, and Berlin. My dance background continues to inform my approach to movement research, performance training, and creative education, with an emphasis on relationality and process.
Since 2016, I have worked in reproductive care as a full-spectrum doula, beginning with the Richmond Reproductive Freedom Project and later co-founding the Richmond Doula Project, where I worked for five years. My training includes Ancient Song Doula Services, Center for Doula Pathways, and Doula Trainings International. This work grounds my commitment to reproductive justice, abortion support, and care-based, non-directive practices.
My facilitation practice is rooted in community organizing and education. I worked as a Conflict Resolution Facilitator and Youth Program Director at the Richmond Peace Education Center and co-founded The Richmond Peace Team, a mutual aid collective formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences shape my approach to facilitation training and community-based workshops.
I design and lead somatic storytelling workshops, embodied performance training, and doula-informed facilitation trainings in cultural and educational contexts, including Tanzfabrik, Impulstage/Lake Studios, 90mil, Berlin Cosmopolitan School, and co-developed Senate-funded somatic workshops for students in Willkommensklassen at Ruth-Cohn-Schule.
Based in Berlin, I work as an art educator, facilitate somatic storytelling and movement workshops, host ongoing abortion storytelling circles at Schokofabrik Frauenzentrum, and am honored to continue to accompany pregnant people and their families through pregnancy, birth, abortion, and postpartum experiences.
