Full-Spectrum Doula Care for Every Body.
I am a trained and experienced English-speaking Full-Spectrum Doula in Berlin, accompanying pregnant people through:
Pregnancy, no matter the outcome, is a deeply transitional and transformative time. As a full-spectrum doula based in Berlin, I offer grounded, non-judgmental support across abortion, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My competencies intersect somatics, reproductive justice, and conflict transformation. I support you not only with information and resources, but in staying connected to your body, your choices, and your timing.
I work with both local and international clients, including English-speaking families navigating care systems in Berlin. I have particular experience supporting structurally diverse, queer, multicultural, and neurodivergent individuals and families.
If you are interested in working together, you are warmly invited to book a free consultation so we can learn more about each other.
“Cristina holds space that is deeply caring, lighthearted and beautiful all at the same time. They helped me navigate challenges and vulnerabilities as a queer birther and always provided a safe space for me to explore what that meant. During and after birth, they worked so hard to make sure we had all our personal needs met and kept my husband and I comfortable and cared for, and I’m so grateful to have had their sweet presence at the birth of my baby. ”
As a doula I trust in your ability, intuition, life experience, and body-knowledge.

I help advocate, create space, and support your choices, needs, and identities with evidence-based information, dance, touch, humor, herbal remedies, sound, somatic practices, active listening and companionship.

Birth Preparation & Accompaniment
Birth is a powerful and often unpredictable experience; the continuous presence of a Birth Doula is an evidence-based benefit, providing physiologic, emotional, and spiritual support throughout your prenatal, birth, and early postpartum.

“Honestly, those days when I called her and she came over to my home and I just needed to talk and hardcore vent Cristina didn’t skip a beat and was just like, let it out. And that night I went into labor Cristina was a G. If I hadn’t had them with me I would have had it way worse.”

“Cristina’s warmth, skilled care and intuitive support have been an enormous blessing for our entire family. She cared for our two year old and helped run our household while I was pregnant on strict bed rest for 6 months. She also took care of me, bringing such understanding and grace that she made a very challenging situation so much easier. She is a godsend who’s got your family’s back.”

FAQ’s

Into my doula accompaniment I bring with me my proficiency in movement, anatomy, and somatic facilitation; let’s dance, let’s shake, let’s practice moving through the birth you want! As a trained fascia touch practitioner I bring the ability to support your pregnancy and labor with touch and internal perception. As someone who uses herbal medicine I bring herbal perineal steams, herb infused compresses, scents, and teas to support your pregnancy, labor and birth. As a multi-ethnic person I bring the ability to hold space for many expressions, traditions, and practices and am happy to participate in, facilitate, and advocate for any rituals, practices, or prayers you would like incorporated into your pregnancy and labor.

Reproductive Justice, as defined by SisterSong, is the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities. In theory, this means I believe that pregnancy support, education, and autonomy are human rights that should be available on-demand to all individuals and families. In praxis, this looks likes midnight texts discussing vaginal discharge, holding vomit bags, long, held, silent phone calls to hold and honor grief, washing your dishes, helping locate resources, advocating for your choices, reminding others of your pronouns, and prepping your next meal. I believe there is no scope to support and care praxis!

During the month surrounding your estimated due date I am on-call for you 24/7 and will be at our decided meeting place within 2 hours of you contacting me. This means that from 2 weeks before your due date until you give birth I am ready to meet and support you no matter what, and in case of an emergency my back-up doula s prepared to respond in the same way.

I use the Green Bottle sliding scale method and my fees for an entire birth accompaniment (pre-natal, birth, postpartum, and 40-day closing ceremony) range from 1,000-2,500eur. A 40% deposit is taken upon us signing a contract to work together, followed by 1 or 2 further installments prior your birth month on-call period. If you/your family need another variation of payment plan, let’s talk to see what’s possible.

I always secure a back-up doula in the case of an emergency or illness. You will meet my back-up doula in person to build trust and comfort during one of our meetings. I use a back-up doula for abotion, birth, and postpartum.

I am a native English speaker and still learning German. I am from the US and have supported many families from many different language and cultural experiences. I also have experience working in German birth-houses and hospitals and have not yet experienced a scenario where I could not serve my purpose as a doula. I am comfortable and confident in my ability to work with families and medical practitioners from many cultures and language backgrounds, I am not comfortable or able to function as a language translator or go-between. I, of course, do everything in my power to facilitate communication and understanding, I am not equipped to translate medical explanations and would never speak on a laboring person’s behalf.

Pregnancy, labor, and birth are profoundly transformative experiences. A sense of grief and experiences of loss can arise from many sensations or events along your pregnancy journey. Some experience loss of bodily autonomy or gender-dysphoria, some grieve previous ideas of themselves or their relationships, some experience miscarriage or unwanted abortion, and for some of us previous traumas or wounds arise even in the midst of joy, love, and anticipation. I am able and honored to walk with you and offer support and tools around any and all experiences of grief, loss, or dis-ease and am dedicated to de-stigmatizing our diverse emotions around pregnancy and/or birth journeys.
